Tips to Develop a Great Reader
- Visit the library and let your kids have their own library card.
- Read with your children at night. Ask your children about what they read.
- Give your children books as gifts and read them together.
- Organize a "library" at home. Create a special place and/or have reading material everywhere.

- Introduce your child to a series (The Boxcar Children, Magic Tree House, etc.).

- Predictions and summarizing a paragraph are easy ways to help with comprehension.
